Tennis – The supremacy of Serena Williams was made clear in Rome on Sunday, when the American beat Victoria Azarenka in the final. With 24 victories in a row and 4 titles won, she is clearly in a better place than last year.

“I want to work hard to keep on winning. I feel good, I played at high levels for the all week and I hope to keep on going like this. In the first set I was able to take advantage of the chances. I don’t feel any pressure for Roland Garros, as I always said I a, able to win all the Slams.”

Victoria Azarenka said: “Having played a good match, I think I’m close to her more than the final score says. She was more concrete in the decisive points. During the award ceremony we arranged to meet in Paris hoping in another final. I can’t compare the last match at Doha against Serena with Roma, she’s playing an incredible tennis, I think it’s her best level from a year and a half on, but I’m satisfied to have played a good tournament on clay so close to Paris.”
