The Russian beauty posed for an exclusive photo-shoot for Porsche in California

CALIFORNIA -- Porsche’s new brand ambassador, the Russian-born tennis star Maria Sharapova, looked stunning as she posed for an exclusive photo-shoot, for the German sports car manufacturer, on Manhattan Beach in California.

The world #2 tennis champ, who has won twenty-nine Women's Tennis Association (WTA) singles titles, including four Grand Slam singles titles and has recently hired Jimmy Connors as her new coach, just pulled out of the WTA Tour Standford Classic with a nagging hip injury.

Notably, the sportswoman also recently confirmed her split with Thomas Hogstedt, her coach for three years. In a statement on her website, she said - "After almost three years of working together, Thomas Hogstedt and I decided to part ways."

Maria Sharapova, who combines top performance in her sports with elegance and power, was spotted donning a pair of baby blue shorts, with a navy and white sleeveless shirt, and a pair of sleek black sandals.

As last year's winner of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, the 26-year old Sharapova who not only took home prize money, but also a white 911 Carrera S Cabriolet, looked absolute ravishing as she sat atop the bonnet of the red colored Porsche at the Manhattan Beach in California.

Known for her deafening grunt on the court, Maria will front up campaigns for the Stuttgart sports-car manufacturer for the next three years.

For Porsche, the choice of Maria Sharapova as the brand ambassador actually extends its long-term commitment to women´s tennis, as the company sponsors the German women's national team.
