The 14-time Grand Slam winner said that he is yet to decide whether to play Davis Cup or not

Leander Paes has guided India to a lot of victories at the Davis Cup in the last few years. However, the 40-year-old is skeptical with his decision of representing India at the upcoming tournament in 2014.

"I respect the decision of the players, non-playing captain and the AITA," Asian Age quoted Paes. "I will decide on what is best after a lot of thought," he continued further.

"Having one doubles specialist and three singles specialists is not a perfect team; you need to have players who deserve to be in the team. I will take the right advice from the right people at the right time.

"Tennis is a global sport and we can do a lot better in terms of having more tournaments at the international level to bridge the gap."

According to DavisCup.com, India will compete in Asia/Oceania Zone Group I in 2014. They will play Chinese Taipei for only the second time in the first round. India won their only previous meeting 3-2 in 2009.
