tennis - Nike gives Li Na a little present, naming a building after the World No.2 in China

Li Na has become the new Asian sensation in tennis over the years. Since winning her first Grand Slam title at the French Open in 2011, the Chinese has made as left an important mark in her home country, where she has officially become a star. After winning her second major title this year at the Australian Open and climbing the rankings all the way to World No.2, things for Li Na started to look even better.

Because of her fame and great results in tennis, her sponsor Nike decided to honor Li Na naming a building after the tennis star in their headquarters in Beijing: the Li Na building. Before the World No.2 other major stars in tennis and sports in general have received such an important honor, including Michael Jordan, Pete Sampras, John McEnroe and Mia Hamm.

Li Na used her Facebook account to share with her fans her excitement for the news, sharing a picture right in front of the building. Here is what she said:

"Hello everyone. I had an incredible experience today. Nike presented a new building in Shanghai with my name on it! I am very honored and grateful for this. I want to share this building with all the great Chinese athletes that Nike represents around the world. I am immensely grateful".

Li Na was recently inserted in the top 10 of the most financially valuable athletes by Forbes, and she wasn't the only one (check who else was there from tennis).
