Tennis: World number two Maria Sharapova had fun after Sugarpova event at the Manhattan beach as she walked without any shoes in the streets.

The four-time Grand Slam winner posted a picture on her facebook page, in which she could be seen holding her high heels in her hands.

The Russian star wrote this caption under the picture, “This is what happens post Sugarpova event. High heels off, running barefoot along the streets. Bliss!”

Sharapova, who launched her own brand of candies by the name of Sugarpova last year, promotes her business herself around the world. The Russian player also places stalls at the tournaments she plays.

The former world number one is having a break from the WTA Tour these days. The 26-year-old played her last event at the Sony Open, where she lost to the reigning world number one Serena Williams in the title match. Before that, she defeated Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki in the final to capture the BNP Paribas Open crown in Indian Wells.

Sharapova will begin her clay season campaign by participating in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix at Stuttgart from next week. Then the Russian player will take part in Mutua Madrid Open and Internazionali BNL d’Italia, before defending her French Open title.
