Frenchman Jo-Wifried Tsonga is on the lookout for a new coach and some sources say that Larry Stefanki may be in the running as his coach.
Stefanki was working with Andy Roddick for the past few years but the American has retired at the US Open in September.
“If it’s a stranger, obviously we think Larry Stefanki,” said Patrice Dominguez, the French Tennis Federation’s former director of tennis. “He has worked with three world No. 1’s in Marcelo Rios, Yevgeny Kafelnikov and Andy Roddick, so he has the experience and right credentials.”
Tsonga is in running for a spot in the ATP World Tour Finals in London next month.
