After reaching the semi-finals of the ATP 500 event in Rotterdam last week (l. to Federer), Nikolay Davydenko continued his good run of form in Marseille on Tuesday, ousting ANdreas Beck 6-1, 7-5.

The Russian was strong on his own serve and broke his opponent several times, and he said that he's playing with a lot confidence following his showing last week.

He will next face Juan Martin Del Potro.

In other action, Igor Kunitsyn also advanced after he beat  Roberto Bautista-Agut 6-4, 6-4.
