ATP Beijing - Jo-Wilfried Tsonga advances to final in China

France's Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has reached the finals of the ATP China Open in Beijing.

Tsonga will meet world no. 2 and top seed Novak Djokovic in the finals on Sunday.

Tsonga was leading Spain's Feliciano Lopez 6-1, 4-1 when the Spaniard retired due to a left wrist injury.

The win also solidifies Tsonga's chances of making it to the ATP World Tour Finals in London.

“I played really well,” commentedTsonga. “I felt really good on the court. I'm just happy today with my game. I'm sure I will play good tennis in final.”
