Jo Wilfred Tsonga's preparations for Wimbledon suferred a setback when the Frenchman injured his finger during his loss to Ivan Dodig at the Queens club ATP event in London on Thursday.
Dodig upset the second seed Tsonga 7-6(3), 3-6, 7-6(5) in a third-round match. Tsonga reached the finals here last year.
The match lasted 2 hours and 2 minutes.
Dodig will play American Sam Querrey, who beat No. 8 seed Julien Benneteau 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. “I have been feeling better every week this year, and my serve is feeling great,” Querrey told the press. “I've only dropped serve once so far in three matches.”
