The second round opponents for the top two seeds at the ATP Rogers Cup in Toronto have been decided.

World no. 2 and top seed Novak Djokovic will meet Australian Bernard Tomic, who beat German qualifier Michael Berrer 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 on Monday.

This was Tomic's 20th match win of the year and ended a seven match losing streak for him dating back to May this year.

Olympic gold medallist Andy Murray will meet Italian Flavio Cipolla next.

The Italian beat  Estonia’s Jurgen Zopp 6-1, 6-2. Both players had qualified for the main draw through the qualifying draw
