Great Britain’s number one player Andy Murray has shared that he would take American star Serena Williams as his mixed doubles partner to win Gold Medal at the London Olympics.

While talking to media in a recent interview, the Brit stated, "If I was going for Olympic gold, I would probably take Serena Williams. She would probably be the best mixed partner."

Murray and Williams advanced to the last-four stage in their respective events at the Wimbledon Championships in contrasting fashion, as the Brit bounced back after losing the first set to battle past Spain’s David Ferrer, while Williams thrashed defending champion Petra Kvitova in straight sets in the quarter-finals.

13-time Grand Slam winner Williams will take on world number two Victoria Azarenka for a place in the final. On the other hand, Murray will lock horns with fifth seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to reach his maiden title match at the Wimbledon Championships.

Murray shared that he would love to have a serve like USA’s John Isner or Ivo Karlovic of Croatia. The Brit also stated that he would choose Superman if he had a choice to become a super hero.
