Australian Open: Li Na prevails over Julia Goerges in straight sets

Li led by an early break of serve in the opening set but Goerges converted the second of 3 break points she had in the 7th game. The German served and leveled the set at 4-4 in half an hour. Li won the first set tie break 7-6.

Li, with momentum fully swung on her side; broke the Goerges serve for the second time in the second set in the third game. She consolidated the break to cruise to a 4-0 lead. Li prevailed in straight sets 7-6 6-1 to move through to the Quarter-Finals. Li awaits the winner between Ana Ivanovic/Agnieszka Radwanska
