Azarenka on meeting Serena ´You kind of write your own history every time´

Four time champion Serena Williams will meet world no. 2 and reigning Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka in the semi finals of Wimbledon on Thursday in a highly anticipated match up.

Serena leads their head to head 7-1 - 5 of those wins coming at grand slams.

But Azarenka says that she will try her best to beat Serena on Thursday when the two meet.

"Obviously she's a great fighter," Azarenka commented in her presser. "She never gives up. You always see that, no matter what the score is, she will go for her shots. She has a huge serve, which we all know. Every player that played against her felt that. It's definitely an asset. I don't really like to look back in history because every time you step on the court it's a new story. You kind of write your own history every time."
