Fernando Verdasco: ´I would like to be in the Davis Cup final´

Fernando Verdasco is visibly happy for the qualification of Spain in the Davis Cup final. But his hope is to find a place in the team for the final against the Czech Republic on November 16th. This is what he said from Madrid to the Spanish newspaper Qué!:

"If I can be on the team and am physically fit, I will answer this. However, if at that time there will be more players in better form than me, I will think in any case of the good of the team and I still wish for Spain to win. But if I have been asked to give the points to my country, I'll be there. I consider myself a team, whether it be tennis, basketball or football. I love the Davis Cup because it gives me the opportunity to spend good times with good friends. The Czechs start as favorites.”
