Juan Martin del Potro: ´No-one recognizes me on the street in Basel…just Roger Federer!

Juan Martin del Potro will be back on court today in Basel, where he is on course to meet Roger Federer in the final.

“If I think of our last matches, I actually should have gone somewhere else ( laugh). No, I’m here to do my job, I’d really like to play against Roger in the final round. It’s always a pleasure to face him, but I still have to win two matches. Roger is really one of my best friends in the circuit.”

The Argentinian also told a funny story: “While I was walking in the streets of Basel, some days ago, just one person recognized me, and he was Federer. He was by car, he stopped and he told me how beautiful the city was and that I should enjoy myself. It’s incredible, you just meet one person, and this person is Federer.”
