Li Na, who is Asia’s lone Grand Slam champion in singles category either male or female, has praised her new coach Carlos Rodriguez saying that she has improved a lot after joining hands with him.

The Chinese number one shared that Rodriguez has taught her how to win matches. She stated in a recent interview, "He's also taught me a lot about how to succeed on the court. I mean, before, I was always likely to explode on the court. I think I've changed a lot. I really have to say he's a very good coach. He's not just teaching me how to play tennis."

Not only her coach but according to Li everyone in her team plays an important role in making a plan for her. She added, "It's important for the whole team to share the same goals. My team has meetings on a regular basis. We make a plan, and everybody plays their role. We don't just work out temporary solutions. We have an overall plan, all of us.”

After having a hard time during summers, the Chinese super star changed her coach and bounced back to do well at the Rogers Cup and Western & Southern Open.
