There have been rumors hovering around since the last couple of days, claiming the alleged split between Maria Sharapova and her boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov.

Dimitrov, 22, was spotted getting cozy with Canadian star Eugenie Bouchard in the picturesque water of Acapulco on Monday, where the duo also played a bit of floating tennis, before having fun in a helicopter ride (click here to watch video).

DIMITROV - BOUCHARD HAVE SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT IN FUTURE

"This is definitely the best experience I’ve ever had on tour," Dimitrov told ATPWorldTour.com, after spending time with Bouchard. "I was happy to be able to do something like this. It is pretty special and we definitely have something to talk about in the future.

"It was nice to get to do this in such good weather, great city. It was very exciting! It’s definitely nice to take off the morning this way. Reality will kick in a couple of hours when we have to hit those practice courts."

BOUCHARD RELISHES THE EXPERIENCE

Meanwhile, Bouchard, who lately turned 20, was also thrilled to have had a helicopter ride, and hitting on a floating court for the first time.

She said, "I was happy to be able to do something like this. It is pretty special and we definitely have something to talk about in the future. It was nice to get to do this in such good weather, great city. It was very exciting!"

THERE'S SOMETHING OVER AND ABOVE DIMITROV, FOR SHARAPOVA

Apparently, Sharapova has also found her new love. The Russian superstar was recently asked that who is her best companion; and the answer that followed was "Stuart Weitzman boots," which certainly acts as a catalyst for the rumors of her split with Dimitrov.

So, who is better for Dimitrov, Bouchard or Sharapova?

However, in modern tennis it is not enough to simply slice the ball back into play on every shot. You need a topspin backhand with which to put pressure on your opponent and win points quickly.
