Mike and Bob Bryan of USA won two matches in a day to reach the semifinals of Rogers Cup Tennis Championships in Toronto.
New crowned Olympic champions were playing their first match since completing their career golden grand slam. They got a bye in the first round and edged past Ivan Dodig of Croatia and Marcelo Melo of Brazil in second round in straight sets 7-5,6-2.
In the night session they were made to play their second match of the day against Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia and Paul Hanley of Australia, which they also won in a similar way with scoreline of 7-5,6-1.
Most successful pair in history of doubles Tennis will face Jurgen Melzer of Austria and Leander Paes of India for a place in finals.
