Olympics - Bartoli says it will hurt not being at the Olympics

World no. 10 Marion Bartoli has known for a while now that she will not be playing at the Olympics but the Frenchwoman says it would still hurt her not being at the Games.

Bartoli has not played Fed Cup for France which makes her ineligible for the Olympics.

"Will it hurt to see others play, but I know for a long time. But I'm happy for Alize Cornet and his wild card at the tournament. Maybe the grass is not his favorite surface but it's nice to know there a woman to represent France. "

Bartoli has refused to play Fed Cup since she cannot train for the event with her father as per French Fed Cup rules.
