Former Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova strugged into the third round of the womens singles at the London Olympic Games on Monday.
The powerful Czech player needed three sets to beat Chinese Taipei's Shuai Peng 75 26 61.
Kvitova has been mixing some good tennsi with erratic tennis in her first two matches.
"I played so, so bad in the second set. I did a lot of mistakes on my forehand," Kvitova commented. "It was a big key to break her in the first game of the third. It wasn't easy - I had a lot of break points - but after that it was much easier."
