Rafael Nadal says carrying Spanish flag at Olympics would be an unforgettable experience

King of clay court tennis Rafael Nadal has acknowledged that leading the Spanish contingent at the opening ceremony of London Olympics would be an experience worth remembering throughout his life.

Nadal is the most successful tennis player his country has ever produced. Rather, the 11-time Grand Slam is the leader among all sportsmen from Spain. A study was conducted recently to know the most recognizable person in the European country and he turned out to be our own tennis star Nadal.

The 25-year-old defeated Czech Republic’s Tomas Berdych to capture Gold Medal at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. He has been given the honor to carry Spain’s national flag during the march past of this edition’s opening ceremony.
