The best final the tournament could possibly desire will be on tomorrow in Basel, as Roger Federer and Juan Martin Del Potro will fight for the title. The last time the two have met was in August at the Olympic games in London. In an exiting three sets thriller Federer was able to get the edge over Del Potro, winning 3-6 7-6(5) 19-17. Last time the Argentine was able to beat the Swiss was in 2009 in London. Can he do it again?
In Valencia, home favorite David Ferrer will face Alexandr Dolgopolov. Ferrer is seeking his 6th title of the season. He will have a good chance, since the Spaniard leads the head-to-head against Dolpogolov by 4-1.

Maria Sharapova doesn’t like to be number two, that’s for sure. Today, the Russian was on a roll to beat the year-end No.1 Vika Azarenka 6-4 6-2. Waiting for her in the final will be Serena Williams. The American easily won against Radwanska 6-2 6-1. Sharapova and Williams will meet for the third time this year, with Williams who won all of her last 7 matches. It’s a repetition of the 2004 year-end championships final, when Sharapova overcame an injured Serena to take the title.
