South Africa have not had an easy 2013 Calendar season as far as the Davis Cup event goes; still, the nation hangs tough and hopes to regain its passed glories after enduring the disappointment and relegation to the B Group in the Euro/Africa Group.

They will host Monaco in the new year - and the venue has been named. The Ties will be played on the Hard Courts of the Irene Country Club from January 31 - February 2 2014.

The Chairman of Irene Country Club Tennis Craig Herbst, had this to say: "We will make sure the Tie is one to remember and becomes a must-visit stop on the SA Tennis Calendar." South Africa have never lost to Monaco on the two instances the nations met, back in 1967 and in 2008.
