Tennis - American Melanie Oudin moves into final round of qualifying

Tennis - American Melanie Oudin is one step away from qualifying for the main draw of the WTA Aegon International in Eastbourne. On Sunday, Oudin defeated Monica Puig, seeded fourth in qualifying, 6-0.6-4 to move into the final round.

Another American Jamie Hampton, the top seed in qualifying, defeated Spain's Lara Arruabarrena 6-2, 6-2 to move into the final round but American teenager Madidon Keys was beaten in the final round by Krsytina Pliskova in three sets. Pliskova will now meet her twin sister Karolina for a spot in the main draw. Karloina defeated British Tara Moore in three sets.
