Tennis - With rain playing spoilsport on Tuesday, several players had to play back to back matches on Wednesday at the WTA Brussels Open. But top seed Caroline Wozniacki, who received a first round bye, could not make it through.

The former world no. 1 was beaten by China's Jie Zheng 6-2, 6-4 - her fifth consecutive loss on the tour and putting her in an official slump.

Meanwhile, American Sloane Stephens who has been struggling of late, managed to win two matches to advance to the quarter finals. American Varvara Lepchenko is also through to the quarters.
