Tennis - Li Na and Kevin Durant launch Nike Summer Nights in Shanghai

Tennis - Nike aims to inspire Chinese youth to do sports everyday

Tennis - Former French Open champion and Chinese icon Li Na was on hand to launch Nike Summer Nights in Shanghai, China on the weekend alongwith basketball superstar Kevin Durant.

Nike Summer Nights aims “to inspire and encourage regional youths to take up sports of any form” including basketball, football, tennis and action sports from 8pm-10pm across China.

Simon Pestridge, Nike’s VP of Marketing commented, “We will do more this summer to inspire China youth to do sports everyday, so it becomes part of their daily routine when school resumes in September.”

Li Na is currently ranked no. 6 in the world.
