Tennis - World no. 2 tennis star Maria Sharapova has come out tops on the list of top 50 richest Russian celebrities and as a result, landed herself on the cover of Forbes Russia.

Sharapova is the highest earning female athlete in the world thanks largely due to her off court endorsements and sponsorships. although she has earned millions of dollars in prize money on the court as well.

The Russian recently launched her own range of candy named Sugarpova and has been promoting the same across the globe.

The 25 year old Russian has been one of the most consistent performers in the game over the past 12 months and has recently hired Jimmy Connors as her new coach as she hopes to breakdown the Serena Williams riddle that has plagued her on the court.
