Tennis - Former Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova has hired a new fitness trainer, Marek Vseticek, who also currently works with 34 year old Radek Stepanek.

Kvitova and Stepanek are rumored to be dating since Stepanek separated from wife and former WTA star Nicole Vaidisova but neither party has confirmed the romance.

Vseticek has earlier worked with 1998 Australian Open champion Petr Kodra.

Speaking to the press in Toronto, Kvitova commented, “We decided after Wimbledon we would like to find a new fitness coach. I think I have a lot of space to improve in my fitness – to try to be quicker.”

Kvitova is currently in Toronto for the Rogers Cup and won her first round match already.

Kvitova has had several fitness issues in the past especially during the outdoor hardcourt season.
