Australian veteran Lleyton Hewitt is currently down a set 3-6 to Sergiy Stakhovsky while Canadian number 1 Milos Raonic and Frenchman Richard Gasquet lead their opponents, having taken the opening sets 6-3 6-3 against Tatsuma Ito of Japan and current world number 33 Robin Haase respectively. Jurgen Melzer is also currently doing battle against a player in good form Marin Cilic of Croatia and Argentine Juan Monaco is up against wonder boy David Goffin of Belgium. Slovinian player Polona Hercog lost 6-2 6-4 to María José Martinez Sanchez, with other matches shceduled to play including Serena Williams against Urszula Radwanksa, Francesca Schiavone against Vera Zvonareva and Caroline Wozniacki against Yanina Wickmayer.
