Fernando Verdasco has recovered from his injury to the wrist that forced him to miss the 1000 Masters in Toronto and Cincinnati.

"If everything goes as planned I will be at the U.S. Open," he wrote on his Twitter profile.

Verdasco was injured in the Olympic tournament, where he exited in the first round, defeated 6-4 7-6 by Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan.
