Former world no. 1 Serena Williams particpaited in a mini exhibition with Gisela Dulko over water on a plaza in Monterrey, Mexico.

Serena withdrew from the event on Sunday due to an ankle injury but was in town for promotions which will avoid her getting any fines from the WTA for the last minute withdrawal.

"It hurts me because I wanted to play here and that way I came, but sometimes things get in the way of your plans," commented Williams. "I suffered the injury two days ago, and I was fighting to come, but I couldn’t with my ankle."
