WTA Beijing - Azarenka, Sharapova and Radwanska headline the Tokyo field

The WTA Tour moves to Beijing next week for the WTA Premier China Open, with another loaded field on the women's side.

World no. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska, who lost in the Tokyo finals today to Nadia Petrova, won the title last year and returns to defend her title.

The field is packed with 42 of the Top 50 players in the draw - including heavyweights such as Victoria Azarenka, Maria Sharapova, and former world no. 1s Caroline Wozniacki, Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic.

World no. 4 Serena Williams pulled out yesterday due to illness. The men's ATP event will also be held simultaneoously next week and world no. 2 Novak Djokovic is the top seed there.
