World number two Rafael Nadal is enjoying break from the ATP Tour as he is spending vacations with his friends on the island of Ibiza in Spain.

The Spaniard had said in the post match press conference after facing an upset loss at the hands of Nick Kyrgios in the fourth round of Wimbledon that he will be heading to his country’s beaches for vacations. He was captured by photographers as he was on the yacht and then later at the beach on Sunday.

The 28-year-old was looking stylish, wearing pink t-shirt and shorts, white cap and black training shoes. In some pictures, he could be seen without a t-shirt and displaying his muscular body. Then he changed clothes and wore white t-shirt and blue shorts.

There were no signs of his girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello. Previously, they used to be together when Nadal was on vacations but she was not seen during Nadal’s pre Wimbledon vacations as well. Don’t know about the last time but this time she might be getting ready for her birthday which falls on 7th July.

Nadal lost his number one ranking to Novak Djokovic when the Serbian defeated Roger Federer in the final to claim his second Wimbledon title on Sunday. The Spaniard will resume training shortly to get ready for the summer hard court season.

How to play from the baseline

The expression “to endure the rally” is about those indeterminate moments of a rally where none of the players is leading.

The ability to endure the rally is fundamental when you play a “long rally”, because it offers you the chance to measure your opponent’s strong points and vulnerabilities, besides letting you position as best as possible for your next offensive shot.
