Canadian Eugenie Bouchard became the first Canadian to win a junior Wimbledon title in singles on Saturday.
Bouchard beat Elina Svitolina of Ukraine 6-2, 6-2 in the girls' final.
The match lasted for one hour and was played on Court no. 1
Bouchard commented ``I'm really happy to have pulled through and I guess make Canada proud, and hopefully (I can) continue with more success like this.''
Bouchard is also in the girls doubles final where she is partnering with American Taylor Townsend. That final will be on Sunday.
