Playing his first tournamnet since April, American Mardy Fish thinks he had a good draw if he was able to beat Jo Wilfred Tsonga on Tuesday.
Fish lost to the French player in four sets on Tuesday.
"I'd love to make the semis of a slam and see what happens from there,"commented Fish. "Obviously Jo and I had a great opportunity in this match. in particular, in this tournament, in particular, [when] Rafa [Nadal] went out.
"I have made quarter-finals before, but every time I've played someone in the top two in the world. So to play Philipp Kohlschreiber, who is a great player, but that's a good draw for sure; a great opportunity for both of us, and now for Jo. I really felt like the way that I was playing yesterday, I went to bed last night and I thought I could maybe win the tournament the way I was playing."
Fish underwent a heart procedure in April to correct irregular heart beats and was playing his first event since.
