Tennis - The 17-year-old Canadian player also spoke about making it big on the Tour
Felix Auger-Aliassime is one of the most promising younger players in tennis. In 2017, the 17-year-old won two ATP Challenger titles and cracked the top-160. In an interview to Telegraph, Auger-Aliassame said, 'I’m not thinking about how good I can be. I’m positive in my mind, I have ambitions, I know how good I can be, but it’s too early to say - I’m still so far from what I want to achieve. I’m around 160 in the world which is nice, I’m young. It’s good to have that ranking, but it’s still so far from what I want to achieve.'
He shares a birthday with Roger Federer, although there is an age-gap of 19 years between the two. 'I’ve been aware we shared a birthday for a long time, basically since I started following tennis,' Felix admitted. 'It’s funny because when I turned eight, and I was already watching tennis a lot, my mum contacted this fan club of Federer, and I got a signed picture for my birthday. Then this year on my 17th birthday I met him at the Rogers Cup so that was pretty amazing. He was really cool, and it kind of showed me how far I’ve come since nine years before. I wouldn’t have believed that was possible back then.'
