It will be a busy grass-courts season for Grigor Dimitrov. The Bulgarian player will play ATP 500 Queen's and also ATP 250 Stuttgart before Wimbledon that starts on July 3. It will be his second appearance in the German event, where last year he lost to Juan Martin del Potro at first round level. Dimitrov will join in the field Roger Federer and Tommy Haas, the other two members of the 'one handed backhand' boyband created at the Australian Open. This year so far Grigor won Brisbane and Sofia titles, reached Australian Open semifinals losing to Rafael Nadal, then he lost to Goffin in the Rotterdam quarters. In March in Indian Wells he lost to Jack Sock at third round level, while in Miami he was beaten by Guido Pella in the first match.
Speaking about the idea of the boyband, Federer had said: 'We were in Australia, at the Australian Open, and we had one of the off days and were hanging out with Tommy and Grigor and David Foster, and we were sort of, like, let's just have fun, let's play some music. He said, Why don't you guys sing along? I actually didn't know the lyrics very well, so we were reading on the iPhone. And next thing you know, it's like, This is too funny not to put it on social media', Roger said. 'So we put it out there. People had a blast over it, laughed at us, and I thought it was great.'â
