4 James Blake won his seventh match in a row beating Ricardo Hocevar 7-5, 6-4. Blake's win moves him closer to automatic qualfification for Wimbledon. Also winning were second seed Michael Russel , a 6-3, 6-0 winner over Fernando Romboli while seventh seed Bobby Reynolds beat James Ward 6-2, 6-4.
