Jieke Stroobant become an assistant coach at Bowling Green State University- View: 386 by Roxana Jo
Stephanie Dalmacio, the head coach at Bowling Green State University, announced that Jieke Stroobant will join her coaching staff for the 2017-18 season as an assistant coach. As a player, Stroobant had a very prominent career at the University of Northern Iowa, scoring 130 wins as a Panther and earning a place in the Missouri Valley All-Select Team team in 2015. She was also the doubles finalist in the Belgian national championship.
In the previous year, Jieke worked as International Student Ambassador at the University of Northern Iowa, and a campus tour guide. In 2015, she helped her country hosting Canada in the Davis Cup, organizing sponsor relations, and recently she worked as a mini global marketing intern in the spring of 2017 with RADA Cutlery.
"I'm very excited to have Jieke on board, her determination and work ethic are a perfect fit for this program," Coach Dalmacio said.
