Belgian tennis player David Goffin plans to represent his country in the Davis Cup quarter-finals against Italy, claims 7SUR7.be Goffin withdrew from Belgium's opening-round tie in the competition against Germany played February 3-5.

He was heavily involved in Belgium's Davis Cup run two years ago - which saw the country reaching the competition's finals - which they did eventually lose to Great Britain.
