Shamil Tarpischev: 'We won't see Serena Williams again on the tennis court'
Tennis - Andy Roddick wishes her the best, while Trevor Noah...
Serena Williams' pregnancy created some reactions on social media. The chief of the Russian tennis federation Shamil Tarpischev, who had called Williams sisters "Brothers" a few years ago, said that would not be a good news for her tennis career. 'If she is pregnant don't think she will ever be back on the court. She won't be as fast as she was,' said Tarpischev.
The South African comedian Trevor Noah joked about the fact that Serena won Australian Open title without losing any set when she was going through the eighth week of pregnancy: 'So Serena cheated. Because that's technically a doubles match,' Noah tweeted. Andy Roddick wrote a nice message: 'There's gonna be a baby GOAT ..... We are so happy, and we know Serena Williams will be a great mother'. Brooklyn Decker, Roddick's wife, wrote the best tweet: 'She won a grand slam pregnant. I needed Andy to dress me, carry me, and delicately place me on the toilet when I was 4 weeks pregnant'
Chris Evert said that it will be a very special year for Serena as she will also get married.
