Tie Break Tens - Grigor Dimitrov and Simona Halep triumph and earn 200,000 dollars

The exhibition event 'Tie Break Tens' opened, although not officially, the "Mutua Madrid Open", a combined event that will be played until 14 May in the Caja Magica. Grigor Dimitrov and Simona Halep won the "title", and earned $200,000 playing just three matches at the best of 10 points per one set.

In the field of the men's singles draw there were Stan Wawrinka, Lucas Pouille, Grigor Dimitrov, Tomas Berdych, Jack Sock, Daniel Evans and the Spaniards Feliciano Lopez e Fernando Verdasco. Dimitrov beat Feliciano Lopez in the final 10-7.

In the women's singles Maria Sharapova was beaten by Monica Puig 10-6 in the first round. Also Johanna Konta, Agniewska Radwanska, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Madison Keys and Simona Halep were playing. In the last round Halep beat Kuznetsova 10-6.
