Tennis - Canadian Daniel Nestor one win away from 900 wins

Tennis - The world's top ranked duo, the Bryan Brothers were beaten in the quarter finals of the ATP Rogers Cup in Montreal on Friday.

The brothers were beaten by Canadian Daniel Nestor and Swede Robert Lindstedt 6-7(2), 6-3, 10-5. The Bryans had won their last 25 matches in a row and have won the last four grand slams. They will be aiming to win a calendar year grand slam at the US Open later this month.

40 year old Nestor is playing this event for the 25th consecutive year and now he has 899 career doubles wins. They will meet British duo Colin Fleming and Andy Murray in the last four.

Polis duo Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski also reached the semi-finals, with a win over second seeds Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez 7-5, 4-6, 10-7 and will meet Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares, who beat Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo 4-6, 7-5, 10-1.
