Agassi, McEnroe chases Courier for top spot in PowerShare Series

Courier needs to win one of remaining two events to clinch top spot

Three former world no. 1 American legends are in the race for clinching the top spot in the 2012 PowerShares with two events left for the year.

Andre Agassi, John McEnroe and Jim Courier will battle for the top spot as the final events take place in Denver and Anaheim.

Courier currently holds the lead with 1500 points, while McEnroe is second with 1200 and Agassi is fourth with 900.

“It's been a hard fought season and I’m fired up to try to lock the title up this week,” commented Courier. “It’s moments like these that keep me pumped up to play and I’m sure both Andre and John are plotting a way to snatch the title. I wouldn’t want it any other way. May the best man win.”

Courier needs to win one of the two titles to clinch the top spot.
