Nadal Nalbandian save two matchpoints and win
Playing in his second event in as many weeks, Spain's Rafael Nadal combined with former world no. 3 Argentine David Nalbandian to move into the doubles quarter finals at the ATP Brasil Open on Tuesday.
The Nadal/ Nalbandian combination beat Pablo Andujar and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-3, 3-6, 11-9 in Sao Paulo, saving 2 matchpoints to compelte the win. The high profile duo were down 7-9 in the match tie breaker but won four points in a row to end the match.
They will now play Oliver Marach and Horacio Zeballos. Nadal had lost to Zeballos in the singles final in Chile last week - his first event after an eight month injury lay off. Nadal is also playing singles this week and is the top seed here in the singles draw.
In other doubles matches at Sao Paolo, second seeds Alexander Peya and Bruno scored a 6-4, 6-3 win over Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo and Tommy Robredo and third seeds Frantisek Cermak
