Troicki scored a 7-5, 4-6, 7-5 victory over second-seed Albert Ramos-Vinolas and has moved to No. 170 in the rankings after this win, a rise of more than 600 spots since his July comeback. Meanwhile, in Sevilla, Spain, top seed Pablo Carreno Busta beat Japan's Taro Daniel 6-4, 6-1 to remain unbeaten in ATP Challenger finals.
This was his ninth title on the Challenger circuit. Carreno Busta was the 2013 ATP Newcomer of the Year Award Winner. In Istanbul, Turkey, third-seed Adrian Mannarino beat another Japanese player Tatsuma Ito 6-0, 2-0, ret.
