With Rafael Nadal's withdrawal, there are still many scenarios for the Pete Sampras group players at the ATP Finals in London. At 2:00 PM on Wednesday, Grigor Dimitrov and David Goffin, who both won their first match ever on Monday at the event, will face each other.
The Bulgarian leads head to head meetings 3-1, three of them were played this year: Dimitrov won at the Australian Open and in Sofia, Goffin in Rotterdam. Dimitrov qualifies Wednesday if he defeats Goffin. Goffin qualifies Wednesday if he defeats Dimitrov in 2 sets; he defeats Dimitrov and Carreno Busta defeats Thiem.
At 8:00 PM Dominic Thiem will have a good chance to increase his hopes to qualify into semifinals after losing to Dimitrov in three sets. The World No. 4 will face Pablo Carreno Busta for the fifth time in career. The Spaniard is the fourth debutant at this year's ATP Finals after Zverev, Dimitrov and Sock.
Thiem leads head to head 4-0, three matches were played on clay, including Rio Open final this year, and only one on hard, at 2016 US Open. Here below full schedule: Get Tickets: http://bit.ly/2zFgtkJ
