It's a thoughtful and complicated time for Andy Murray. According to The Telegraph, the World No. 1 visited a hip specialist on Thursday after speaking with his team about the next plans to solve this injury that has been hurting him for three weeks.

At the moment the only way to follow seems to be taking a rest and get treatment hoping that it is healed enough in order to come back to compete in a good shape. If it doesn't work, the other option is surgery.

He would not be new to that, as he had a back surgery in 2013. But his main goal is to be 100% healthy again, and that's why his appearance in the Masters 1000 Montreal event, which starts in three weeks is in doubt. Murray could be overcome in the rankings by Rafael Nadal if the Spaniard wins Montreal title.

But also Roger Federer has some chances to be at the top of the rankings again after the Cincinnati event. Meanwhile, the BBC Analyst Chris Evert spoke about Murray suggesting him to take a break: 'I know there’s a lot of pressure from tournaments, from accumulating points on the circuits, from endorsements.

But at some point, take a break. Look at what it did to Roger Federer. It’s a no-brainer.' ALSO READ: Leon Smith: 'Murray had ridiculous hand-eye coordination even at five' .
