UH Spring Invitational: Kansas concludes the competition with 8 wins on the final day

Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch in Lahaina, Maui, served for the 3-day UH Spring Invitational, with the University of Hawai'i hosting Kansas and Washington State in the final preparation for the start of the regular season.

In fact, Hawai'i and Washington State will kick off the action in just 4 days time, and that gave this preseason matches even bigger importance. Just like on day 2, Kansas won most of the matches, claiming 8 wins in total, 3 in doubles and 5 in singles. Nina Khmelnitckaia, Tess Bernard-Feigenbaum, Anastasia Rychagova, Janet Koch, and Maria Toran Ribes were successful in both singles and doubles, and Tatiana Nikolaeva was the only player from Kansas who lost a match, in two tight sets.

Melisa Ates and Ege Tomey performed well too, winning doubles match together and then scoring 2 singles triumphs as well, while the host school notched one win in both categories.
