Jeremy Feldman, men's tennis head coach at Charlotte 49ers, announced the transfer of Oliver Sec from the University of Indiana. Due to NCAA transfer rules, Sec will not be able to represent 49ers in the upcoming season, but he will have two years of eligibility remaining starting from fall 2018. This New York native, who finished Beacon School (had a lot of success there) and also attended The John McEnroe Tennis Academy, played in 29 singles matches last year and won 14 of those, including a 9-13 score in dual encounters.

Sec spent his freshman season at the University of California at Santa Barbara and he entered the Collegiate tennis as a five-star recruit.

"Oliver has a ton of big match experience having played these past two years at Santa Barbara and Indiana," Charlotte 49ers coach Jeremy Feldman said. "We're excited to bring him in to the Charlotte 49ers tennis family and help him achieve his individual and our team goals."
